It was a pleasure staying at this family-run hotel outside of the city center with easy access to Megalopoli. the rooms were large, comfortable, with beautifully tiled bathrooms and cloud-like pillows. the service was impeccable, and the delicious breakfast and cuisine made for a delightful culinary experience. the beautiful stone buildings blended well with the beautiful unspoiled countryside and offered an unobstructed view of the river valley. the crackling fire in the restaurant in winter months is perfect for dinner. the hotel also comes equipped with a lovely veranda and comfortable sofas, making it a great place to relax.
The hotel lacks some of the modern amenities one might expect.

During Christmas, we visited a hotel that had superb surroundings close to the countryside, hiking trails, and the motorway. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were beautifully appointed with tasteful furniture and decor. One of the main highlights of our stay was the restaurant on the property that served fresh, delicious, and locally sourced food. We enjoyed the view of the river valley from the veranda and the cozy fireplace in the dining hall.
We were a little disappointed when the staff was not as helpful as we expected. They were not rude, just not as friendly as we had hoped.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Peloponnese. The scenery is breathtaking with stunning views of the river valley. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and well-equipped with comfortable beds and beautiful woodwork. The restaurant offers delicious farm-to-table cuisine that is reasonably priced. The local area is idyllic, peaceful, and perfect for a romantic escape.
The hotel is a bit hard to find as it is tucked away in a small village. Once you find it, however, it is definitely worth the effort.
